Harald Fairhair and the Unification of Norway
The movie tells the story of Harald Fairhair and the Unification of Norway. “You even get to meet the Jotun king Dovre, most famously commemorated by Edvard Grieg in the iconic musical piece In The Hall of the Mountain King (which we hear in the movie as well!), as Flateyjarbok presents us with the myth that young Harald was raised and taught the skills of kingship by the Jotun in his mountain kingdom”.
